A new leak has revealed 24 critters planned for Pokemon Pokopia's future DLC, adding even more of the franchise's Pokedex to the cozy town-building spin-off. Pokemon Pokopia has already received the Bubbly Basin DLC as part of its expansion pass, and is slated to get two more expansions later in 2026 and 2027, respectively. No firm release dates for these expansions have been shared outside of these launch windows.
Pokemon Pokopia is the Nintendo Switch 2's surprise breakout hit of 2026, currently sitting as one of the highest-rated Pokemon games ever. The combination of cozy Animal Crossing-like town building, Minecraft-like crafting, and Pokemon's classic creature collecting has made it a standout on the console. Pokopia DLC was announced back in the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, with Part 1: Bubbly Basin launching in August.

Legendaries play a major role in the story of Pokemon Pokopia, with players having to complete special tasks in order to unlock the likes of Kyogre, Raikou, and others. Manaphy starred in the Bubbly Basin expansion's questline, and it seems like the next DLC will follow a similar trend with another Gen 4 Legendary.
This leak comes in part due to the recent Nintendo Switch 2 jailbreak, which has allowed hackers to mod games and extract data from game files. While Nintendo has already pulled the software capable of jailbreaking the Switch 2 from the console, that hasn't stopped some hackers from exploiting the software's vulnerability. It's possible that more content for Pokemon Pokopia and future releases like Pokemon Winds and Waves will be leaked thanks to this hacking tool in the coming months. However, it remains to be seen just what else dataminers can get their hands on.
