Grand Theft Auto VI will reportedly require a 210GB download on PS5, according to tracking account PlayStation Game Size, a figure posted on X on October 27 that Rockstar Games has not confirmed.
Insider Gaming says it independently corroborated the 210GB figure, which would make GTA 6 one of the biggest downloads on the platform. Rockstar has published no file size of its own, and there is no word yet on how much storage the Xbox Series X|S version requires.
What 210GB means for your hard drive
On an original PS5, with 667GB of usable storage, a 210GB game would claim nearly a third of the drive. Many players could have to uninstall several games to make room, and the crunch starts before launch day rather than on it.
Rockstar has confirmed that the boxed edition contains a download code rather than a disc, so retail buyers face the same storage math as digital ones.
The dates to plan around
Rockstar has confirmed that pre-loading begins November 12, a week before GTA 6 launches on November 19. The tracking post lists the standard edition at $79.99 and a midnight release time, details Rockstar has not confirmed.
