Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 Brings Akane Rin to Stage Alongside the School

Neverness to Everness is getting ready to celebrate its half-year anniversary, with the second half of Version 1.4. Developer Hotta World and publisher Perfect World have announced that the update will arrive on October 21st, 2026 with lots of new content.

They’re adding a new playable character, a school festival story with The Whoots!!!!, and a special performance of the anime song God knows…. There are also some anniversary freebies coming along, including 2 million Fons and a special outfit for the new character.

Here’s what’s in store in Neverness to Everness Version 1.4

The biggest addition is Akane Rin, who you might recognise as a part-time guitarist working at Livehouse StarSign. She used to work as an Anomaly Hunter before eventually ending up on stage. She‘ll join the playable roster with three new outfits, one of which is the House Special outfit that you can grab as part of the half-year anniversary celebrations.

Her musical side also isn’t limited to her job at Livehouse StarSign. While exploring Hethereau, you’ll be able to pull out her guitar and play wherever you want. There’s also a new school festival story on the way, bringing The Whoots!!!! back into the spotlight. The band will perform God knows…, the well-known anime song.

Meanwhile, the main half-year anniversary rewards include 2 million Fons and Akane Rin’s House Special outfit. You can also get 20 Solid Dice for use on Limited Boards through the seven-day Circle Gifts login event and the special Version 1.4 gift.

Then there’s the Puka Membership Program, which becomes available after reaching City Tycoon Level 16. This program includes rewards such as two S-Class Standard Character Selection Boxes, one S-Class Standard Arc Selection Box, three outfits, and more.

The first half of Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 launched on September 30th, bringing the game’s second Porsche collaboration, the fully explorable Pukaland theme park, Blackbird, and new permanent Anomaly Commissions. Now, you’ll be able to dive into the second half soon!

Neverness to Everness is available on Android and iOS.
