Star Wars: Galactic Racer Editions: Which One Should You Buy?

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is speeding toward its October launch, but choosing the right edition could be as important as picking the right vehicle. With multiple editions offering different bonuses, content, and price points, it can be tricky to know which version is actually worth your money.

As is customary today, you can buy several editions of Star Wars: Galactic Racer. While you can ultimately go with the cheapest version to save yourself some money, the other editions do offer some intriguing in-game and real-life content. Here’s a full look at the Star Wars: Galactic Racer editions, what each one includes, and which edition is the best value for your money.

All Star Wars: Galactic Racer Editions

Star Wars: Galactic Racer comes in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. Each has a different price point and includes different items, including some pre-order bonuses. Below, you can see each edition laid out so you know exactly what you’re getting and what you’re paying for.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer Standard Edition – $60

  • Base game
  • Unique platform-themed Player Banner (pre-order bonus)
  • Unique platform-themed Livery (pre-order bonus)

Star Wars: Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition – $80

  • Unique platform-themed Player Banner (pre-order bonus)
  • Unique platform-themed Livery (pre-order bonus)
  • Digital Art Book

  • 3x unique Arcade Events
  • Steel Case with Sleeve (if purchasing physical copy)

Star Wars: Galactic Racer Collector’s Edition – $190

  • Unique platform-themed Livery (pre-order bonus)
  • Digital Art Book
  • 3x exclusive Repulsorcraft
  • Deluxe Livery
  • 3x unique Arcade Events
  • Steel Case with Sleeve (if purchasing physical copy)
  • Collector’s Edition Box
  • Landspeeder Model
  • Physical Art Book
  • Pilot Patches
  • Kestar Banner

Which Star Wars: Galactic Racer Edition Should You Buy?

Between the three editions of Star Wars: Galactic Racer, which is the best bang for your buck? Well, first off, if you’re a huge Star Wars fan and have some cash to spend, the Collector’s Edition seems like a terrific value. For $190, you get everything included in the Deluxe Edition, plus several real-world items, such as a Landspeeder Model, Pilot Patches, and a Kestar Banner.

However, if you’re looking at the two lesser editions, Standard and Deluxe, we would say the Standard Edition is the better value. The Deluxe Edition doesn’t offer that much extra content for $20 more unless you’re buying a physical copy, which comes with the classic Steelbox Case.

If Star Wars: Galactic Racer offered early access with the Deluxe Edition, we would argue it’s worth the extra $20 over the Standard. However, it doesn’t appear there will be early access, so the Standard Edition for $60 plus the pre-order bonuses looks like the better deal.
